Color, Form, and Space
by Madeline H. Tolins-Schlitt
These images were created with the same sense of urgency, trepidation, exuberance, and acceptance needed to navigate modern life. As I placed colored forms on a blank, white surface each shape danced in harmony and conflict with those already in place. Each composition grew in character and complexity: shape by shape, color by color, until equilibrium was achieved,
the confluence of forms determining the final result. Each piece is essentially abstract and unique.
